1-8 March Submit Confirmation to SAO** Confirm your participation and submit agreement letter. You will receive a confirmation link on February 28

18:00-19:00 Pre-departure Briefing (Session 2- Mandarin)
May to June Submit Pre-departure Documents to SAO
June to September Submit debriefing form to SAO after the trip
*Student who speaks English can make an appointment with US to receive more information about general briefing
** Late confirmation will not be accepted

  Points to note before application

  • Attend the General Briefing  
  • Seek agreement from parents/legal guardians 
  • Smart Points will be counted as at 2019 Feb 15. 
  • Cumulated GPA >= 2.0 or equivalent 
  • Contact Faculty directly for credit transfer issues
  • Students are responsible for their own visa application, insurance and air tickets
  • Student Affairs Office will not provide assistance to those self-applied summer programme

 Application Flow

 Application Requirement

  • Nomination from University of Macau is needed
  • Attend pre-departure and debriefing meetings
  • Attend the whole programme and complete its requirement
  • Submit debriefing form to Student Affairs Office after the trip
  • Withdrawal from the programme after acceptance will be subjected to an administrative fee of MOP1000 (by cashier order/ bank draft), return the full sponsorship (if granted) and disciplinary action (exception: medical reasons or other justified reasons approved by Student Affairs Office)

1. Smart Point – student with the highest amount of Smart Point
2. University Teams and SAO Programme members
     (Sports U Team, Cultural and Arts U Team, Campus Training Programme, Stage Management Programme, House Tutors and)
3. Residential College – nominated by individual RC

Remarks:
·    Programme nomination and the allocation of sponsorship will be based on accumulated Smart Points
·    Programme Fee refers to the sum of tuition and accommodation fees announced by the host university
·    An extra MOP 500 will be given to those who receive Smart Point sponsorship and have an accumulated GPA >=3.0 at the same time
·    In summer 2018, 33 students received sponsorship under Smart Point Scheme
